Obligatory thanksgiving post..

Yesterday I began doing some basic baking for the holidays as Kate's niece, Taylor, was again spending a few days with us. I finished choc. chip cookies and sugar cookies, moved onto no bake cookies (thanks cooking wiki) then turned around and made up special sugar cookies, with garlic, gravy, and baby food mixed in... Which were specifically for the dogs (thanks Daily Drool recipes.)

In short, the dogs, upon even seeing one of these treats, go into a trance... Even a basset like Lilo immediately begins rolling over like crazy and standing perfectly at attention, drool comes out immediately... They have been very good recently (except for attempts to get on the table to eat the dough (we're working on getting her off of this annoying habit.)

Mogli and Lilo still enjoy their time at the dog park and I'm finally moved in to the point where I can get into the office once and awhile to get things done and continue working on some projects of mine (Cooper is supposed to call back by tomorrow, but I'm not holding my breath)

Anyway, Happy Thanksgiving. I'll be spending mine again at Kate's mothers house hoping everything works out great (I'm bringing two loaves of my home made bread, and I had homemade pizza with crust from scratch last night... $3 for the machine was the best money ever spent.
